Master Suite with Master Bathroom

You can treat this as two separate bedrooms split by a bathroom, but we like to see it as a Master Suite, a redoubt from which you can indulge the luxury of privacy. There's a separate exit to the back yard, so you can revel in the dawning or breathe deep of the late-night air.

One of joys of a Spanish Revival styled ranch house is the charm of hacienda living, where it's appropriate for floorplans to ramble with room additions as families grow and styles change. This master suite was undoubtedly an addition, but time has made this an antique, too. Just reflect on the beauty of these hardwood floors, which are probably over 50 years old, but new to an 80-year old home.
